Method to play a sound (repeatedly on click) in QuickTime during a Keynote?

This posting is older than 6 months and can contain outdated information.
Wondering if anybody has attempted or had success with the following via Remote Buddy:

- Running a Keynote (latest version - iWork 09) presentation
- During the Keynote we need to randomly cue a sound to play (like if a viewer answers a question) via QuickTime or similar audio playback software
- Must be able to repeat the action multiple times during the Keynote presentation as needed
- Must run under OSX 10.6.8 on an iMac, dual monitor setup with presentation on second monitor and Keynote presenter on main monitor
- Do not want to disrupt Keynote to play the sound effect

Running the Keynote presentation conventionally via the keyboard and mouse.

Using an Apple Remote with Remote Buddy, but nothing programmed or needed to work except for this function.

I looked at the Behaviour Construction Kit in Remote Buddy but didn't readily see how to make this happen.

I'm prone to think even if Remote Buddy can trigger the sound to play it will disrupt the Keynote presentation - but it is worth a try. If this can work it will save having to buy a separate MP3 player or computer to host the desired sound playback functionality...

Thanks in advance for any help or ideas.
