iTunes and Video playback

Hi!

When using RB to play video in iTunes, the video is not able to resume after pause. I have noticed that though a musical selection is shown in the iTunes app after being accessed by RB, a video selection is not. This might be related to the problem.

I am so glad I purchased Remote Buddy. Thank you for the terrific program!

Thanks,
Stephen

Hello Stephen,

thanks for sharing and your kind words.

This problem is known and actually an iTunes problem. If you select a
track (be it video or audio), play it and then switch to another
playlist, you'll notice how the pause button transforms into a stop
button.

Sadly, there is nothing Remote Buddy can do about this, as only Apple
can change the way iTunes works.

Best regards,
Felix

As often, you get the best ideas after you've sent a mail ;-)

I found a work around to this iTunes problem and it will be included
in the next version.

Best regards,
Felix

The French call it "espirit de scalia," the spirit of the stairs: thinking of a good response after you have already started up the stairs, left the room, or sent the e-mail!

I can't wait to try out the new solution!

Take care,
Stephen

Just to clarify, it's «L'esprit d'escalier» -- staircase wit.

I'm a French-speaking canadian, and had never heard this saying... but from now on, I'll use it! Happens all the time.

Thanks for the link :-)

I've had French for a couple of years in my school time. My skills
are good enough for reading, but not writing, though. ;-)

It's a beautiful language.

Cheers,
Felix
