iTunes Browser suggestion

I know this may seem redundant to what Front Row does, but there are time where I do not want to use Front Row to play a video, etc., and though you can currently navigate your TV Shows and Movies in the Browser you built into the iTunes Behavior, for TV Shows it is not very effective, mainly because it brings up a list of episode names.

So basically I wanted to suggest, if possible, a way to scroll that by the name of the show, then the episode, otherwise one can be scrolling for days.

Anyway, keep the great work coming Felix, this app really has grown and just keeps getting better!!

Hi Erick,

that's, in fact, an excellent suggestion. Could you send me a
screenshot of your TV shows via http://www.picturearena.com/upload/
(that way, up- and download are SSL-encrypted and size is not a
problem)? Or, even better, so I can play with it, your "iTunes Music
Library.xml" and "ITunes Library" files from your Music/iTunes folder
(privacy guaranteed)?

TV shows aren't available in the iTS in Germany, yet AFAIK, so I
can't test this myself without help.

Best regards,
Felix

Hello,
Since TV shows aren't available to you wanted to make sure you knew about a nice little app for tagging movies, perhaps ripped from a TV show DVD with Handbrake. "Lostify" will allow you to tag these movies show they show up in iTunes just like purchased TV shows from the iTunes store.

That would give you some files in your iTunes Library to test. Any questions let me know.
Thanks for all the work!
Stephen

Hi Stephen,

thanks a lot! That application looks very useful for that purpose!

Could you send me four screenshots of that tool with the data of two
TV shows from one week, one from the next week and then one of a
completely different TV show (=> easy and SSL secured upload via
http://www.picturearena.com/upload/ )? It shouldn't be too hard to
figure out the differences in metadata for theses shows then and how
to sort them properly.

Thanks in advance!

Best regards,
Felix
