EyeTV Diversity problem
View

This posting is older than 6 months and can contain outdated information.
Hi, I've just bought an eyetv diversity (dual tuner) and right now, i can't do anything with RB. Although i0m not recording with none of the tuners, it keeps saying so and i can't change channels. Full screen neither works, nor any of the options (nothing changes if for instance, i keep play pressed).
I don't know if i am doing someghint really bad...

Thanks and regards!

p.s. is near your next release?

Hello,

you haven't done something really bad unless stumbling directly into
two known bugs in RC1 is something such ;-)
(I don't think it is, though)

Problem 1: Channel switching. You have a future recording scheduled?
That's the reason. This is fixed in RC2.
Temporary fix: Don't schedule recordings (probably not my favourite,
either, but it's currently the only fix to the problem I can offer to
you).

Problem 2: Fullscreen. When EyeTV starts in fullscreen mode, RC1
won't detect it. RC2 will - and act correctly.
Temporary fix: Don't start EyeTV in full screen mode.

The next release is making great progress, but still needs some time
since some high priority items are still on my ToDo list. It'll be a
pretty massive update, though, so it should well be worth the wait :-)

Best regards,
Felix
