RB/EyeTV/Fullscreen Menu as Default - issue
View

This posting is older than 6 months and can contain outdated information.
Hi Felix,

I notice that if EyeTV 233 has the setting "Fullscreen menu as Default" enabled (one enables this via onscreen menu under setttings) then RB eventually gets conused where it is (and thus gets stuck ... e.g. issuing channel change commands etc when in the EyeTV menu)

An easy way to demonstrate this:

1) is set fullscreen menu as as default (see above - one needs to do it via the onscreen menu) and then
2) to manually launch EyeTV (say with a mouse) and you should see that the navigation arrows on the apple remote fail to move around in the EyeTV menu even though the behaviour is active (instead they change channels etc) as if RB has lost the "context".

This is just an example - the problem does also show up eventually when RB is used to launch EyeTV (as you would expect). Understand if you don't support manual launching (with RB already running) by mouse or vitual mouse etc in RB.

best regards,
chris

Hello Chris,

thanks for reporting. I've already fixed that issue in the upcoming RC2.

Best regards,
