Screen Settings Behavior...
View

This posting is older than 6 months and can contain outdated information.
On the "About Behaviours" page it lists Screen Settings (As well as many other System Tools) as behaviors - but they are not accessible from the "Behaviors" in the Settings section of the preferences.

I know I can have these functions in the main menu, but I would like to be able to set them to a button on one of my controllers (Because, if I am in the other room and the Remote Buddy menu is set to display on my main display, I won't be able to see it).
With the ability to use multiple remotes now I can really take advantage of my Harmony remote now - but it's somewhat of a hassle if I can't switch which screen the Remote Buddy menu appears on without seeing the menu...

Hello,

thanks for asking.

The functionality you are asking for was actually planned for RC2,
but the deadline arrived to soon. This feature is now scheduled for
the next release.

Best regards,

is this going to happen soon? or has it already?

i'm in a similar situation, I want to program some buttons on my harmony remote to do things like change to custom display resolutions and run applescripts.

unless there is another way, i want to add these types of items to the global mapping of my logical remotes. then program my harmony to the buttons of said logical remotes.

is there any other way to program things like "changing my display to a certain resolution" to a button on my harmony (or apple remote for that matter)? i'd like to avoid using the menu if
possible.

thanks!

This feature is still on my ToDo list, yet not with a too high
priority as it turned out to be rather complex and requires some
changes in the foundation of Remote Buddy.

It's not the same for sure, but you can still create a menu of your
own, though, with just the resolutions you use. That way, you don't
have to go through all supported resolutions down to the entry you are
looking for each and every time.
