Eye TV, Apple Remote and a Mac Pro
View

This posting is older than 6 months and can contain outdated information.
I have the El Gato Eye TV Hybrid. The Apple remote has worked with the Eye TV software, and built in IR sensor on the device for some time now. Since the last update to Remote Buddy there seems to be a new behavior. I've managed to install Front Row on my Mac Pro using the information I found here ...

Now I can use the Apple remote with Front Row - if the Eye TV software is running ! I'm not a programmer by any means, but it seems like the resources used by the Eye TV software are allowing Front Row to "see" my remote.
