disable apple remote for remote buddy only

This posting is older than 6 months and can contain outdated information.
Hello,
I have a Mac Mini connected to a TV in our family room to use as a media station. I'm primarily interested in using Remote Buddy to use my iPhone as a remote for music from anywhere in the house, while still just wanting to use my Apple Remote to control Front Row only on the Mac Mini itself.

If I disable the Apple Remote in Remote Buddy, that disables it for Front Row as well. Is there a way that I can run Remote Buddy so that the remote still kicks in directly to Front Row?

Thanks for asking.

You can set up Remote Buddy to hand on anything coming from the Apple
Remote to Remote Buddy's built-in Virtual Remote (the only true, full-
fledged Apple Remote Emulation on the market). There's a guide on how
to achieve this in the "Feature" on adding a remote to Macs - linked
from the end of Remote Buddy product overview page.

Best regards,
Felix
