new install, nothing but problems

New MacBookPro running 10.4.10. My iTunes library is on a Lacie NAS drive on my small network. I downloaded latest RemoteBuddy today, installed it, and iTunes goes to heck. Beach balls all over the place, I have to Force Quit it twice to kill it and restart. Then when I do, Remote Buddy doesn't load and I have to go find it in the Apps folder and start. One without the other works fine, both at once is a disaster. Everything is current, up to date. I also have an iPhone, and didn't realize the whole Ajax Remote thing, so I wanted to play with that too...HELP! I deleted programs and plist, and emptied trash, re-installed remote buddy, still the same problems.

Any ideas?

More experimenting. It's not just iTunes that RemoteBuddy is screwing with. It's the whole network/airport connection. I can't even mount my NAS drive now. It hangs the Finder, and I have to force quit the actual Finder, eventually locking everything and forcing a hard shut down (holding down the power button).

RemoteBuddy, in it's latest build hates me!

I can assure you that Remote Buddy does not do anything to either
iTunes nor to your network/airport connection.

You may want to check the thread "Remote Buddy does cause packet
loss". It appears that on some machines, the concurrent use of
Bluetooth devices and WLAN/AirPort are causing problems because of how
Apple implemented those drivers. This however is something that Remote
Buddy is not responsible for. It uses all APIs as documented and
supported by Apple.

You may want to try disabling Bluetooth and see if it helps.

Best regards,
Felix
