Searching Bug?
View

This posting is older than 6 months and can contain outdated information.
HI again,

I was doing some searches in the AJAX remote with my iPod Touch, and encountered a problem. I meant to serach on a the term 'metall,' but I had accidentally typed in 'metals.' When I coprrected my search, the term 'metals' automatically popped up as an alternative. I didn't choose that, however, but no matter what, when I hit the 'Done' key, RB searches on 'metals,'not the term I just entered. I'm not sure how to get around the application choosing my last search term rather than the new one.

Also, if I'm listening to a playlist, how do I switch to a different playlist? I only seem to be able to add songs to the current playlist when I browse the traditional playlists/artists/albums way...

Thanks.

What you are seeing is Mobile Safari's / Keyboard auto-correction and
not AJAX Remote itself.

You'll see the same behaviour anywhere else where you can use the
touch keyboard.

Unless you tap on the white popup, the touch keyboard will use what it
suggested in the white popup. IIRC, you can turn it off in the
device's preferences with newer versions of the OS.

Best regards,
Felix
