Using Wiimote and playing games

hi, im new to this, i just bought remote buddy and i love it, however im trying to get it to play games with the wiimote like a classic nintendo controller...

it sort of works but the problem im having is when i hold in the directional pad to move around, and press any other button, the controls stop working for a second, it seems like it doesnt allow multiple key presses.... how can i enable it to accept multiple key presses so i can play video games with the wiimote? thanks

Multiple keypresses are currently filtered out due to Remote Buddy's
focus on controlling the desktop.

If it wouldn't do that, you could f.ex. trigger two emulated key
combinations at once, ending up triggering a third, unwanted action.

In fantasy app, i.e. Apple + P could equal to "Play/Pause" and Shift
to "some temporary display action". Together, they'd end up as Apple +
Shift + P, which in that example could mean something totally
undesirable like "delete current entry and file without further
security request".

I'm looking into solutions to satisfy both desktop application and
gaming needs, though.

so there's absolutely no way to use the wiimote to play games with multiple key presses yet? can i just disable the wiimote from controlling the desktop temporarily then allow it as a game controller?

and if this feature is being worked on, do you have an expected date when the update will be available?

thank you very much

Not right now.

can i just disable the wiimote from controlling the desktop

This option is currently not available.

I'm sorry, but I can't talk about the feature set or dates of future
releases.

As the product page's sidebar puts it:

"All purchasers of a version 1.x will receive all V1.x updates for
free."

This is disappointing. Using the Wii controller for emulators on my tv was the only reason I wanted to buy this. I could use the Darwiin Remote drivers but Remote Buddy's menu system would be ideal for launching games. I hope this is resolved soon...
