I am trying the demo to determine if I want to buy Remote Buddy. The pictures I have taken using my iPod touch controlling my Intel iMac running 10.5.2 are blank, just black in the Pictures->Remote Buddy folder? I rebooted the machine and tried several times.

Question is there a way to turn off the local Apple Remote so it works without Remote Buddy? All I want to use is my iPod Touch with the Ajax remote?

It appears that when changing capture resolution, the iSight driver
always resets its brightness settings, which can lead to dark pictures
if you use it in a dark environment. The iSight will typically need a
second or two to adjust to dark or very bright environments. As it
resets its brightness settings when the capture resolution is changed
- and Remote Buddy only captures a frame rather than one or two
seconds of video - this can be a problem.

I'm working on a workaround already, though.
