1.11.4 - Disconnecting the Sony BD remote
View

This posting is older than 6 months and can contain outdated information.
Thank for all your work to get new drivers for the remote, but is there any way we can designate a certain button to disconnect with (preferably with a single button press rather than hold)? Holding down the PS button is not a good choice, the button is already the "menu" button and holding it down just causes the menu to come up. Thanks again!

Thanks for asking.

The long press on the PS button is built-in hardware behaviour of the
BD Remote and makes the BD Remote close the connection by itself. As
its a feature of the hardware itself, the button can't be chosen.

Right now, I don't see any documented software-side way to disconnect
the device. If there was, Remote Buddy would already make use of it.

Best regards,

Sorry, didn't know thats how it worked. Well I reverted back to 10.5.5 and all is good again, hopefully apple fixes it in the next update.
