Apple Remote Keeps De-Activating
View

This posting is older than 6 months and can contain outdated information.
My IR sensor in my Mac Mini does not work so I added the Keyspan IR sensor. Everytime my computer restarts I have to go back in Remote buddy and activate my Apple remote again. Is their any way to keeo remote buudy from defaulting to de-activate the Apple Remote?

Thanks for asking.

Right now, hardware detection and remote/receiver on/off states are
determined automatically and can't be saved. Sorry.

In your specific case, the easiest solution for now would be to use
the remote included with the Keyspan bundle as it'll always stay in on
state.

Best regards,
