Hello,
I have the Sony Ericsson and I'd like to test Remote Buddy. When I run the .hid on my phone, it asks me to select the device I want to control, I select my mac and then I see just "Connecting remote control" for like a minute but it does not connect.

Is this phone supposed to work ?

thx
Tex

Hello Tex,

Thanks for asking.

I don't own a Sony Ericcson 610 myself, but I think that you will most
likely not be able to pair the device from the device's side alone.
You usually will have to use OS X Bluetooth Assistant for this.

Suggestion:
Use the Bluetooth Assistant (launch it through System Preferences or
directly at /System/Library/CoreServices/Bluetooth-Assistant.app) on
your Mac to pair a new keyboard and perform the steps you described on
your mobile when the Bluetooth Assistant searches for devices.

Best regards,
Felix Schwarz

ok thanks,
I removed my phone from the paired devices and then added it again and now it works better.

My phone connects to the remote buddy and then I see a Keyboard Setup Assistant that asks me to push the right shit. But there is not shift on the phone.

Which keyboard type am I supposed ti choose ?
