Remote Buddy and Candelair
View

This posting is older than 6 months and can contain outdated information.
Hi,

if I have installed the latest version of Remote Buddy, is there a way to 'activate' the alternative Apple Remote driver in it do get 'Candelairs' functionality? Or do I have to install Candelair for the case that I don't want Remote Buddy to be running?

Thank in advance, Volker

Thanks for asking.

Candelair consists of two components:

1) a copy of the Remote Buddy 1.15 driver (which does all the "magic")
2) a System Preferences pane for installing/uninstalling it

So, Candelair really is just a repackaging of the same driver that's
included in Remote Buddy.

If you already have Remote Buddy and its driver installed, you don't
get any benefit of installing Candelair.
