Remote Buddy driver issue
View

This posting is older than 6 months and can contain outdated information.
Hi,

Im having a problem with the driver for Remote Buddy. If i start up the machine and try to use remote buddy the apple remote will not work, but if i go to the setup wizard and run the driver test drive every thing works just fine.

I have a iMac 21.5" running 10.6.2 with all the latest patches and the apple aluminium remote.

Thanks

James

Thanks for asking.

"Testdrive" only loads the driver and does not install it permanently. If you reboot or turn off the Mac, it's no longer active.

Only if you select "Install" will the driver actually be installed and loaded automatically at boot time.
