Toggling system audio out

Forgive me if I have missed this. For my mac mini HTPC I wish to be able to toggle my system audio (digital out vs USB out for headphones) with a single button press assigned to a logical apple remote. Currently I have an applescript tied to it that opens system prefs, toggles it, closes, and displays a message--and works fine--but is not elegant. I know in remote buddy menu you can toggle it, but I did not see a predefined action for remote buddy to do this one step (as a global mapping). Is this possible? Thanks for the great product!

Thanks for asking.

This functionality is currently not available as an action. Sorry.
