Dynamic Menus?
View

This posting is older than 6 months and can contain outdated information.
Hello,

I am wondering if there's a way to create menu's dynamically via applescript. I am creating a behavior for the radioSHARK application, which streams audio via a FM tuner. You can set a number of "favorite" stations in radioSHARK, and I would like those to appear as remote-buddy menu items. I know I could do this if I manually create a menu with my favorites through remote-buddy, but then it is not synced with radioSHARK favorites.

Thanks!

Thanks for asking.

There's currently no way to provide dynamic menu content using AppleScript. You can, however, use Remote Buddy's menu AppleScript command to present your own, independent menu structure. For examples, please see Remote Buddy's AppleScript dictionary in AppleScript Editor.
