Hello
On my university network, which is well hidden and quite secture, I cannot get ajax remote to find the server (I have found the server on other less secure networks). Both my iphone (4.02) and my air (latest OS) are connected to the nyu network, but ajas remote says cannot find server, using either of the two suggested ip addresses. What do I need to ask my networking people to see if I can get remote buddy working on this network.
Thanks

Thanks for asking.

Sounds like connections between WiFi clients are not permitted on your university's WiFi network (which would make great sense security wise).

I guess the question you asked here should also be ok for your network admin, too. Maybe also include that you're trying to establish a connection on port 8888. This might be valuable information to him/her.

Best regards,
