Can Remote Buddy connect through VMware?
View

This posting is older than 6 months and can contain outdated information.
This great application looks like it might turn the useless Apple remote into something usable.

On my Mac, in order to play and maintain music I have to use a VMware+Win7 session to run WinAmp and Media Monkey (iTunes is too functionally lightweight and obliges lock-in). So, can RemoteBuddy work through VMware? Looking at the videos it seems RemoteBuddy can only select Apple applications to control. So does this mean I cannon control media players through a VMware session?

Many thanks in advance.

Thanks for asking.

Remote Buddy is only available for Mac OS X and is designed to control native Mac OS X applications.

Windows and Windows applications are not supported.
