Movie Library NAS Problem
View

This posting is older than 6 months and can contain outdated information.
Hi. I recently removed an NAS from my network. As a result, when I go to the Remote Buddy movie library, I get a message saying that it could not connect to the removed server, and the system hangs. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall Remote Buddy, but it didn't fix the problem. I understand from other posts that this is an OSX problem at its root, but how can I get the movie library to stop looking for the NAS?

Thanks for asking.

You can remove all manually added entries from the Movie Library by entering

defaults delete com.iospirit.RemoteBuddy MovieLibraryItems

in Terminal.app while Remote Buddy is currently not running.
