How to reveal remote button function

I just got a Blu-Link bluetooth remote, and it appears that it is working very well with RB. My question is that some of the buttons which are recognized by RB have different names/locations than the ones on the Sony PS remote. I'm having a hard time figuring out what the corresponding button in the RB mapping section is.

Is there some way to reveal which physical button corresponds with which virtual button function in the mapping menu if the names differ?

Thanks for asking.

Such a functionality does currently not exist. Sorry.

The Blu-Link remote is - as of this writing - not supported by Remote Buddy.

This would be a massive help ! On Linux (previously had Mythtv boxes) I could simply use a tool called 'mode2' to view the IR commands steaming in.
