Remote Buddy as Front Row Replacement
View

This posting is older than 6 months and can contain outdated information.
Hi,

I'm absolutely a novice at this, and was wondering if there's a way I can create a behavior for what I need. I realize if I upgrade to Lion and upgrade my iTunes, Front Row will no longer function. I have a Mini Media Center and don't wish to use Plex or Boxee due to a large number of iTunes TV shows and movies. While the TV/Movie options in the iTunes section of Remote Buddy doesn't seem as though it will do the trick (not organized well for large libraries, etc...), I found that creating video playlists for each show and using the playlist feature is a much better option. And now my question.

Is there any way to add the episode description tag from iTunes beneath the title and next to the artwork when displayed from the playlist listing?

Thanks for reading!

I just want to chime in on this topic - I think using RemoteBuddy as a Front Row replacement would be great - but the UI could stand to be _much_ better. Thanks by the way for the playlist suggestion - that's a good idea to managing the disorganization of the TV shows.
