PS3 BD Remote on Lion Mac Mini
View

This posting is older than 6 months and can contain outdated information.
Has been using PS3 BD Remote through Remote Buddy on C2D Mac Mini. Just bought the latest diskless Mac Mini with Lion and installed remote buddy afresh. Paired remote through Remote Buddy and remote working fine. But after reboot upon pressing any remote button an OSX dialogue box show up saying the BD remote is asking to pair with computer and a passcode is needed. Tried 0000 and 1234 to no avail. Paired again using Remote Buddy and remote is fine again, but same problem after reboot. Checked remote appears on Remote Buddy preference hardware tab, and also on OSX Preference bluetooth tab (but "Paired: No").

I had this problem a few months ago. We discussed it and was found
corrupted bluetooth settings files. So try this:

back them up to a safe location, then delete them. Anywhere you find
them /Library/Preferences/* /System/*/Preferences/* and
~/Library/Preferences/*

Dont forget to check in the ByHost folder inside Preferences. It may
also contain some Bluetooth*.plist files

Hmm maybe also unpair your BD remote from the previous computer by
deleting all the bluetooth files there too.
