Deactivate Hotkey Remote on startup?
View

This posting is older than 6 months and can contain outdated information.
I can't find where to deactivate hotkey remote on startup. In the documentation, it says there is a "Activate Hotkey Remote on startup" checkbox, but I can't find it anywhere in the preferences.

I'm using version 1.19.2 of Remote Buddy and am using it with AJAX Remote on my iPhone. I also don't see anywhere in the prefs to deactivate Apple Remote on startup. I know I can turn these off from the drop down menu in the menu bar, but it seems like these things should be settable in the prefs?

Thanks for asking.

The options you're looking for can be found at

Prefs > Hardware > Virtual Receiver > "HotKey Remote"

and

Prefs > Hardware > Built-In Receiver > "Deactivate Receiver at Launch"
