Powerpoint 2011 for Mac with Aluminum Apple Remote - Video
View

This posting is older than 6 months and can contain outdated information.
I have a bunch of slides in a Powerpoint presentation that are MP4 video files. When the presentation moves to a certain slide, the video starts playing. I want to be able to use my remote to pause and resume the video that is playing in the presentation. The default Remote Buddy Powerpoint action for the Play/Pause button on the remote is to stop the presentation entirely. I would love to be able to click the Play/Pause button on the remote and have the video pause and then click the button again for the video to resume. Anyone have any idea how to create that Custom Action?
Thanks!!

Thanks for asking.

While your presentation is running, you can use the Virtual Mouse to click elements within your presentation.

By default, holding the Menu button will switch to the Virtual Mouse. You can then use it to click elements in your presentation.

When done, holding the Menu button another time, will bring you back to controlling PowerPoint.
