Multiple Apple Remotes
View

This posting is older than 6 months and can contain outdated information.
Hi -

I use a basic programmable remote running JP1 software which emulates an Apple Remote for use with Remote Buddy. It emulates both short and long Apple Remote keypresses and works great. I use it primarily to control XBMC.

I can modify this remote to run TWO Apple Remotes, each with different IDs. I read in the RB documentation about support for multiple remotes. How would I set up Remote Buddy to respond to commands from multiple remotes to control XBMC? I want one virtual remote to control the basic functions (PLAY, STOP, SELECT, etc.) and the other virtual remote to control additional functions (TOGGLE SUBTITLES, JUMP TO DIFFERENT WINDOW, etc.)

Thanks...
