Behaviour for Vox on OS X?
View

This posting is older than 6 months and can contain outdated information.
Has anyone put together a fully-working Behaviour for Vox on OS X? I have one but it won't activate the Previous and Next double-arrows.

I downloaded and activated the Vox system preference and activated Use keyboard media buttons, but entering Func 7 and Func 9 as keyboard actions in Remote Buddy Behaviour Construction Kit does not work. Pressing these media keys directly on the Apple keyboard enters nothing.

Any ideas?

Thanks for asking! Sorry the reply took a while.

Multimedia keys like these are not handled like regular keys in OS X and thus can't be recorded or simulated like regular keys, either.

Even on a hardware and kernel level, they appear as a "Consumer Control" HID device, whereas all other keys/key codes appear as "Keyboard" HID device.
