Remote Buddy resets "Display on screen" after computer restart
View

This posting is older than 6 months and can contain outdated information.
I use Remote buddy exclusively with XBMC and the TV. I noticed that every time I restart my iMac, Remote Buddy starts on Main Screen and I have to change rooms to set up Remote Buddy to show on the second screen (TV).

Is there a way to make this setting permanent?

Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

The problem right now is that OS X provides an ID for every display - but that this ID can change upon a reboot.

I'm currently doing some research on the topic and hope to find a way to uniquely identify a display through a combination of other attributes and a matching process.

Best regards,

And thank you for the quick reply.

I don't know if it's of any help, but XBMC has the same option and it works even after a reboot.
