Launch Application (without applescript)?
View

This posting is older than 6 months and can contain outdated information.
New to Remote Buddy (using it as Trial first to see if it can do the minimum required).

I think I must be missing something obvious, but
- Mac Mini OSX
- Apple steel remote
- Kodi app installed

With Remote Buddy loaded, Default Behaviour running, how do I assign a button to launch an app (in this case assign one of the Apple remote buttons to launch Kodi)?

Choosing one of the buttons, assigning Custom Actions..
Seems to then lead to need mimic of keystrokes, timings etc.

However forum search seems to suggest going beyond keystroke and being able to use Applescript (though I can't quite see how to do that either).

Haven't been able to find any further info on the Custom Action screens sufficient to understand it, but I think I'm missing something obvious!

Advice/guidance appreciated,

Marcus
