Hello Erick,
thanks for your feedback.
I have been having some intermediate problems with the Keyspan
remote and Remote Buddy, mainly with Front Row. It says to hold
the Menu button to dismiss the Photo Buddy menu, yet holding it
does not dismiss it and if you just press it Front Row is
activated. This issue needs to be worked out for a later version
because it is frustrating. There should be a way to dismiss the
Photo Buddy menu without activating Front Row.
When in the menu, please press the "left" - button to leave the
current behaviour.
One intermediate issue I have had when in Front Row, when I am
playing music, Photo Buddy sometimes conflicts with the Front Row
controls. I have had it lock up Front Row and I have had the Photo
Buddy menu for iTunes suddenly appear. When it locks up Front Row
I have to hard shutdown my computer to fix it.
I really hope this can be addressed. I have not had this issue
with the Apple Remote.
Just to clarify: Remote Buddy can't lock up Front Row nor can it
conflict with it since it just emulates keyboard events. It's also
not a RF FR Remote issue.
The problem you experienced in fact only occurs if you invoked Front
Row, don't have iTunes started and then select Music within FR. I
didn't previously think of that edge case and it will be fixed in
Preview 4. Thanks!
As a general tip, you can always terminate Front Row (or any other
fullscreen application) by pressing Apple + Alt + Shift + Esc.
Hope that helps.
Felix
