I *LOVE* remote buddy. I've been working at Apple 19 years and this is one of the most useful coolest Apps I've ever used.

One suggestion - I've been using it to play .avi's via VLC and if you displayed the elapsed time when the video is paused and not just when fast forwarding or reversing that would be extremely useful.

Keep up the great work

Martin,

I really don't understand why your email went to me, I'm just a guy
who posted once or twice to the forum. However, I thought I'd point
out that the elapsed time display is a function of VLC, not
RemoteBuddy. VLC just does that when you fast wind, and doesn't when
you pause. I don't believe there's anything RemoteBuddy can do about
that.

Hello Martin,

thanks for the encouraging posting!

May I quote you on the in-the-works "Rave and reviews" page with
below sentence?

I *LOVE* remote buddy. I've been working at Apple 19 years and
this is one of the most useful coolest Apps I've ever used.

Regarding VLC, Avram is correct in that VLC does create that OSD
elements, not Remote Buddy, so I can't do anything about this :-(

Best regards,
Felix

You're right about it being a VLC-thing, although if you press "T" in VLC, you'll see that the time elapsed shows up. I also am a big fan of Remote Buddy, and this is a feature that I really missed when I first tried it with VLC.

Thanks :)

And, let me give that back: it's a pleasure to communicate and work
with all of you! Remote Buddy wouldn't be what it is without all the
valueable input from its users! I truely appreciate that!

Best regards,
Felix
