Bluetooth Remotes for Mac + Remote Buddy?
View

This posting is older than 6 months and can contain outdated information.
Hi,
I've looked for BT Remotes for Mac,
but I can only find RF Remotes, or IR Remotes.

Besides there are some BT Remotes (Logitech Wireless Presenter) but these use an external BT-USB-Stick, to connect.
I want to use the internal BT ..my PB G4 has...

Are there any BT remotes for Mac?
Will Remote Buddy support those BT remotes?

Because I'd like to control the mouse, to zoom, to control all the apps in a convenient way and Remote Buddy is - as often said - the best FR-extending application...
(This (http://www.epox.nl/products/view.php?product_id=371)seems to be the only BT Remote, which doesn't need to use an external BT-Stick, and it's very simple, like the Apple Remote....)
Unfortunately it supports officially only MS Windows...

Do you know alternatives?

Thanks.

Hi,

I believe that the Harmony remotes by Logitech use Bluetooth, but
don't know any other ones. As I have no idea how these Bluetooth
remotes interact with computers, I can't say whether they will be
supported.

If you don't have a remote coming with your Mac or being able to use
a remote without a line of sight, the Keyspan RF remote for Front Row
(=> see supported remotes) does currently give you the best value for
money IMO. It's not a beauty, though ;-)

Best regards,
Felix
