If you used the default mapping for Plex with previous versions - and now with version 0.9.5, this most likely is functionality that changed in Plex itself, which I can't do anything about.

In case you only hold the select button when you want to stop playback, what you could try is to go to Prefs > Mapping > Plex and select the "Stop" action for that button. That action worked in my tests yesterday.
