Hmmm. I can confirm under the same general circumstances not ever had 
PS3 Controllers working. Remote Buddy has always been installed and 
running. Mac Mini (1,1). Your suggestion about clearing the 
preferences files sounds good. Perhaps uninstalling the RB kext might 
make a difference. I have no idea.
