This posting is older than 6 months and can contain outdated information.
By the by, I just checked system profiler and my 2008 Macbook is actually running a 64-bit kernel under Lion (cool, I guess). So apparently it's not a 32/64 issue.

I submitted feedback to Apple (http://www.apple.com/feedback/macosx.html) so to anyone else experiencing this, please do the same. Thanks! Looking forward to taking Remote Buddy for a spin soon.
