This posting is older than 6 months and can contain outdated information.
I've had this same issue with my MacMini (2011 model). Remote buddy works fine, then suddenly stops working.. and we've been trying to work out what causes this. The software is running, and even when we quit and come back into it (with out a reboot) it still will not respond to the remote. It takes a reboot for things to return to normal operation. I do have Candelair installed and running as well.

Any help with this topic is greatly appreciated.
