This posting is older than 6 months and can contain outdated information.

The MCE remote is special, because of the patented RC-6 protocol it
uses. I'd like to add support for it as time permits, but still need
to do research on whether or not these Microsoft patents affect Remote
Buddy. That's why I don't want to promise anything at this point.

Any update to this. Me and several of my mates could really use the MCE remote. It's ideal with the ability to control the TV, backlighting, good amount and layout of buttons, and low cost. PLEASE !
