Right now, Apple Remotes can not be differentiated when using an eHome
receiver with RB. The only receiver for which RB supports that feature
is Apple's receiver.

If you need a lot of buttons, the Bluetooth Sony BD Remote remains my
recommendation. It's inexpensive and much easier to set up than
"feeding" a number of Apple Remotes' codes into a programmable remote.
And your Mac Pro (usually) already has the required Bluetooth receiver
on board.
