Re: Multi Apple Remotes via eHome Receiver

This posting is older than 6 months and can contain outdated information.

I'm trying to use RemoteBuddy on a Mac without a built in IR receiver by using eHome receiver. This is working great however I want to be able to setup more than one Apple Remote so I can map more buttons to my universal remote.

I've noticed you can only select the option to use multiple Apple Remotes if you are using the built in IR receiver and not an external third party one. Is this an oversight or something that can't be implemented?

Are there any other options available to me? The FAQ states the MCE remote might be supported in the future, its this likely to happen anytime soon?

Thanks

Hi, i use the following setup

Lion 10.7.3
Remote Buddy 1.2.1
Harmony 900
external (eHome/MCE) receiver

is it possible to use multiple virtual remotes?
