This posting is older than 6 months and can contain outdated information.

OSX Server 10.6.2 / Intel, model not applicable (Vanilla Kernel)
Remote Buddy 1.18

Sony BD Playstation Remote exactly as pictured.. (I have 2 of em, bought an extra thinking it was faulty)

There is a USB cable ran along the with the HDMI cable going to the basement... hidden behind my TV is a powered USB hub that has a USB BT Receiver plugged in... there is no BT directly in my media server

Distance from the BT receiver and remote: 10ft tops

Fresh batteries yepp... gotta keep piles of em ready for this remote.

Everything was working perfectly fine for well over a year til beginning of June when remote took a dive.. figured it was the remote, til I got another one...

I will be upgrading it to Lion Server here eventually, perhaps a complete clean OS install might help.
