I haven't been able to accurately reproduce this issue. It's sporadic. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I've tried all combinations of disconnecting, restarting, battery pulls and sleep/wake scenarios and sometimes it just doesn't work and will ask for the passcode again. It does work more than fail, but at the moment I've given up and gone back to the Apple Remote which always work without fail.

However one thing that does work consistently is that if the passcode thing comes up, I can switch to the Apple Remote, use that for a bit, and then the PS3 BD remote will work fine after a bit again and the passcode dialog goes away.
