This posting is older than 6 months and can contain outdated information.

I also have this problem, a 2011 Mac Mini, and every time it resumes from sleep, I will be asked to enter the pairing passcode.

I've deleted all the files as above, and there's no trace left of them on the system. Also reset PRAM and still no luck. Hoping for a solution soon!
